(Grand Bend, ON) Week 4 at Grand Bend Speedway was held under sunny skies and perfect temperatures for auto racing. The four divisions on hand were action packed and was a night to remember.

Hogtown Cycles 9hp Winged Sprints

If there was ever a title of Iron Man status at Grand Bend Speedway, it would be bestowed on one particular driver from Ailsa Craig ON. Shawn Thompson (72) has competed (and won) in every single season that the speedway has been in existence since its humble beginnings in 1996. Thompson, wheeled his 9hp Sprint to two feature wins this past Saturday night, besting some hard chargers in Jaden Riddell (15) and Matt Korcina (93). The series returns this Saturday night for more competition.

London Drive Systems 4Funs

Stevie Lovie brought out the Hyundai Tiburon (48) to the track to score his second consecutive feature win. Former series Champion Kenny McNicol Jr.(17) started shut gun on the field and worked his way up as fast as he could be ran out of time when trying to catch Lovie. Phil Givens (0) settled for 3rd place. Kyle Neumeister (92) was a threat to win until his front end locked up under caution, which also collected Don Yorke(007).

OK Tire Jr A Sprints

Tyler Cullen (43) led flag to flag to score another feature win Saturday night. Lap after lap, young Chase Cameron (4) tried various attempts to overtake Cullen. With a few laps to go, Cameron was able to get a wheel to the inside of Cullen but ran out of racetrack and Cameron did his part to assist the Speedway staff with some lawn care and dropped back to fourth. In feature race two, Ethan Orr (57) wrestled the lead from Chase Pinsonneault (3) and held off the field to score his second win of the season.

McNicol Welding & Fabricating Jr B Sprints

Brooke Pinsonneault continued her dominance in the starter division at Grand Bend Speedway with a pair of wins on Saturday night. Each week the drivers improve their skills when negotiating traffic and overtaking. Young Carter Nichol (6)finished in second in both races and Kaleb Taylor (41) and Jaden Chapman (01) shared the third places finishes in the twin 245’s
