LAVAL, QC – With less than two weeks to go until the inaugural road course race in the series' young history, the driver registration forms for the Canadian Stock Car Championship's (CSCC) inaugural race at the Grand Prix de Trois-Rivières are flowing in at a good pace.

The first competitor to file a registration form is none other than two-time World Karting Champion, Pier-Luc Ouellette of Terrebonne, QC.

A full-time driver in the CSCC, Ouellette is making a return to full-time stock car racing after a couple years off and sporadic participation. He is currently third in CSCC point standings.

He will be driving the 48QC car; the very same car that current NASCAR Xfinity Series rookie Alex Labbé piloted to the Série ACT champion’s title in 2014.

In the time simce, Labbé also won the NASCAR Pinty's Series championship (2017).

The CSCC drivers are all accustomed to turning left on Quebec's ovals. But on the GP3R NASCAR weekend (August 11-12), these talented racers will also have to demonstrate an ability to turn right.

The 41-lap race is 100 kms long.
