Starting eighth in the first feature, Latimer worked his way forward over the course of the event, en route to a solid fifth-place finish. The team went to work during the break, and starting third in the second event, the JL Motorsports driver ran up front from green to checkered, crossing the checkered in third.
Combining the five features at Sunset Speedway with his pair of features at Sauble Speedway, Latimer has scored three top-fives and five top-10’s in seven starts thus far in 2018.
