Starting third for the second feature, he’d slip back to fifth in the early stages, though managed to escape getting involved in an incident ahead of him at Lap 10 to move up two spots to third. Following the restart, he would drop back quickly through the field, ultimately coming to a stop for the second caution in turn two at Lap 16 for a flat tire.
