Starting mid-pack in the first heat, Wilson used patience and speed to work his way forward, taking the lead with two laps to go, en route to picking up the checkered flag.
He was hopeful to do the same in his second qualifier, but the motor would let go early in the race, ending his entire night early.
Wilson will be back in action this weekend behind the wheel of his OSCAAR Modified at Jukasa Motor Speedway on June 16 alongside the OSCAAR Hot Rod Series and NASCAR Pinty’s Series.
Wilson’s efforts are supported by The Fyre Place & Patio Shop, Have1.com, and Wix Filters. Wally Wilson Racing is a proud supporter of #BurnOutTheBully and Laps for Muscular Dystrophy..
