DeLeeuw started off the night solidly, posting a fourth-place finish in her first heat, followed by a sixth-place finish in the second qualifier.
Starting seventh in the 25-lap feature, she would fade back in the early stages to the 11th-position, though was able to make a pass on Bob Phinnemore through the middle portion of the feature to break back into the top-10. From there, she was solid throughout the remaining half of the feature, navigating through the traffic en route to a 10th-place finish.
She will hope to continue the momentum this weekend on Saturday, August 14 in the 13th night of points competition.
