This year, Kevin Lacroix will attempt a hat trick by winning three races in a row on the Grand Prix de Trois-Rivières' 1.53 mile urban track. Kevin won this event in 2015 when he was a rookie in the series. He came in first in a spectacular finish against Andrew Ranger with only a few thousands of seconds to spare. In 2016, he also won to a sensational race.
"I hold the track record at the Grand Prix de Trois-Rivières and I am fairly confidant because of my two last wins on this track. We will have an excellent car for this upcoming race and winning the GP3R would give me a perfect score on road tracks so far."
Indeed, Kevin Lacroix remains unbeaten with three wins on the three road tracks visited by the NASCAR Pinty's series this year. On the other hand, Lacroix's time in Western Canada proved to be difficult. He lost the Championship's first place to Alex Labbé who leads him by 10 points.
"I think that we can still win the NASCAR Pinty's Championship" states the driver of car #74 Bumper to Bumper / TOTAL / Go Fast / PFC Brakes / Gates Corporation Dodge.
This weekend is certainly one of the most important ones of the year for team Bumper to Bumper as more than 200 of Kevin Lacroix sponsors and partners will attend the Grand Prix de Trois-Rivières Sunday.
The CanAm 50 will be presented live on RDS 2 from 2:00 p.m. and on TSN on Saturday August 19 at noon. The start of the race is at 2:20 p.m., but NASCAR Pinty's fans are welcome on the track before for an autograph session at 12:30 p.m.
Kevin wants to thank his sponsors Bumper to Bumper, Total, Go Fast, PFC Brakes and Gates Corporation, a partnership between growing companies that represent excellency, ambition and victory. "I am happy welcome all my partners at the Grand Prix de Trois-Rivières this weekend."
