Strictly Hydraulics Night at Scotia Speedworld on Friday

HALIFAX, NS - Scotia Speedworld's Weekly Racing Series returns this Friday for Strictly Hydraulics Night! Racing under the lights this week will be; the Hydraulics Plus Bandoleros, ACE Lumbermart Thunder and Lightning, Jack Daniel's Trucks and the Strictly Hydraulics Legends. Adult admission for the Weekly Racing Series is just $12.00; Youth (8-15) are $2.00 and children 7 and under are free...all summer long! Tickets are available at the gate on race day. Grandstand gates open at 5:00 PM with racing action slated to get underway at 7:00 PM.

Stellar field expected for Pro Stock Tour season opener at Scotia Speedworld

The Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour is kicking off a new season on Sunday at the CARQUEST 100! Scotia Speedworld, located just outside of Halifax, will host the Season Opener. Over 30 teams from across the Maritimes have registered for the 2012 season and event organizers are expecting an exceptional field for Sunday's festivities, including special guest, Cassius Clark of Farmington, ME.

Atlantic CAT returning as title sponsor of Atlantic CAT 250

The longest race and sponsor relationship in Atlantic Canada continues through the 2012 season as Atlantic Tractors and Equipment Limited will present the 13th Annual Atlantic Cat 250 on Saturday, August 11th at Scotia Speedworld. The Atlantic Cat 250 is a marquee event on the Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour and one of only two 250 lap events on the 2012 schedule.

NASCAR Track Champion Brad Eddy Moving to Maritime Pro Stock Tour in 2012

2011 NASCAR Track Champion Brad Eddy is pleased to announce that his 2012 racing schedule will have him compete north of the border on the highly competitive Maritime Pro Stock Series (MPST). Over the last two years Eddy has been doing most of his racing in the United States, driving in NASCAR’s Late Model Division. The NASCAR race cars are much heavier than the Pro Stock (Super Late Model) cars that compete every summer at tracks throughout the Maritimes.
