@MicraCup • @nissancanada • During my time at the track, something I've noticed is that the media and the drivers are two separate groups. And that makes sense, there are two completely different mindsets required for each role. Rarely do you have a reporter who possesses the necessary racing license to participate in the event.

@taegenpoles • The last time I got into a kart feels like ages ago. But the past few times I've gone out driving, in recent weeks, have definitely been some of my favourite moments of the season. I've participated in the Bridgestone Racing Academy and done two test days with Brian Graham Racing, one of which was a part of the Toyo Tires F1600 Karts to Cars program. To put it in a single word – it was incredible.

The Nationals have come and gone, and like last year my inner journalist has provided me with many topics to touch upon and analyse, similar to how a driver analyses how their kart handles in a session to report back to their coach before crossing scales.

MULTIMATIC MOTORSPORTS: Scott Maxwell and Jade Buford earned their second P7 finish in a row in the #15 Ford Racing/Multimatic Motorsports/Miller Racing Mustang Boss 302R at the Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge (CTSC) debut at the legendary Sebring International Raceway; the second round of the 2014 season.

If there was a word to sum up the 2013 Canadian Nationals, it would be 'drama.' It was everywhere you looked, and in my opinion it even took away from the thrill of racing, which was really unfortunate.

(Editor's Note: We'd like to welcome Taegen Poles as a new contributing blogger to InsideTrackNews.com. Taegen is an aspiring racer who lives just west of Toronto. In her debut, she documents her personal experiences at the recent Canadian Nationals karting event at Goodwood Kartways.)

BERLIN, GERMANY – In just a few short days, Audi will again take on the world at the 24 hours of Le Mans. Today, in Berlin, I had the chance to get a personal tour and debrief of the mighty beast. Here is what you want to know about the car, as well as why Audi will probably win Le Mans, again, in 2013.

Indianapolis. The month of May. If you're a race fan, I don't think you need any more than those two statements to imagine pure bliss. Luckily for me, I was able to take my own small part in the proceedings this year by racing in the Night Before the 500 at Lucas Oil Raceway. Just a few miles away from the legendary Indianapolis Motor Speedway, many young drivers – like me – experienced our first oval race this past weekend.

The 2013 race season is well underway at this point and to say the month of March flew by would be a complete understatement. With the kickoff of the USF2000 Championship season in Sebring and St. Pete, I can't believe we're almost through 3 months of the New Year already.
